Camp Staff Coach ($10/hour) 

As a Camp Staff Coach you will be responsible for 10-12 kids throughout the duration of a soccer camp. You will oversee the coaching of a group during morning and afternoon sessions. Additionally, you will have small group talks, choose a camper of the week, and be expected to write an end of the week recap for each player at select camps (1-3 sentences). 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Check-in and check-out each player in your group with parent or guardian. 

  • Follow the Lead Coach’s session and focus on development of your small group. 

  • Assist Lead Coach and Camp Director in the setup and take down of equipment each day. 

  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality. 

  • Discuss the word of the day and how it pertains to soccer, life, and everything in between. 

  • Keep tabs on players and personalize an end of week note to each player. 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • Proven self-starter, independent, energetic, and well organized. 

  • Current of former college student, preferably pursuing or with a degree in sport management or another closely related field (soccer background preferred). 

  • Willingness to engage players and coaches and step out of comfort zone.  

  • Flexibility in schedule to arrive early and stay late, when needed.  

  • Experience coaching soccer (can be camp coaching specific or general coaching). 

  • Outgoing, with the ability to effectively interact with managers, co-workers, partners, fans, and the general public. 

  • Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time. 

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. 

  • Ability to set up cones for exercises is preferred, but not required. 

  • Ability to pass a SafeSport Background check through Indiana Soccer.

Camp Lead Coach ($12/hour) 

As a Camp Lead Coach you will be responsible for an age group of kids throughout the duration of a soccer camp. You will oversee the setup of exercises and coaching for a specific age group during the morning and afternoon sessions. Additionally, you will be in charge of: collecting the names of the campers of the week  and skills challenge champions, as well as facilitating the weeklong intra-camp world cup tournament. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Set up all fields for teams to utilize for morning sessions. 

  • Direct your age group (i.e. 11-14) through sessions and exercises. 

  • Meet with your age group in the morning to get day started and take attendance. 

  • Follow the timeline that the Camp Director has set, ensuring camp activities stay on time. 

  • Assist other Camp Lead Coaches in getting equipment out and setting up for day. 

  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality. 

  • Lead end of week discussion pertaining to age groups, the camper of the week, and the skills challenge champion. 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • Proven self-starter, independent, energetic, and well organized. 

  • Current soccer coach with a minimum of 2 years of coaching experience (head coaching experience at club level preferred). 

  • Willingness to engage players and coaches and step out of comfort zone. 

  • Flexibility in schedule to arrive early and stay late, when needed. 

  • Outgoing, with the ability to effectively interact with managers, co-workers, partners, fans, and the general public. 

  • Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time. 

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. 

  • Ability to set up cones for exercises is preferred, but not required. 

  • Ability to pass a SafeSport Background check through Indiana Soccer

Camp Director ($15/hour) 

As Camp Director you will be responsible for the entirety of the camp, from beginning to the end. You will be required to be the first to arrive each day and the last to leave, ensuring equipment is taken out and put away properly each day. You will oversee the beginning of camp each day by bringing the entire camp together and recapping the previous days’ skill and word. Additionally, you will be in charge of running the check-in on the first day of camp or ensuring availability if delegating this task to a Lead Coach). The daily “word of the day talk” will also be your responsibility, as well as the closing of camp. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Help plan, run, and oversee the entire camp, along with the Director of Youth Development, 

  • Set up the afternoon all camp game, making sure to split up the different teams and mix age groups. 

  • Meet with the entire camp each morning to brief them for day and remind them of previous day. 

  • Create camp timeline and make sure the Lead Coaches are following it. 

  • Direct the setup of camp equipment each morning, setting up signage and equipment for efficient use. 

  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality. 

  • Lead daily “word of day” talk and the closing of camp. 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • Proven self-starter, independent, energetic, and well organized. 

  • Current soccer coach with a minimum of 4 years’ of coaching experience as a head coach at club level is required (collegiate or semi-professional coaching is preferred). 

  • Willingness to engage players and coaches and step out of comfort zone.  

  • Flexibility in schedule to arrive early and stay late, when needed. 

  • Outgoing, with the ability to effectively interact with managers, co-workers, partners, fans, and the general public. 

  • Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time. 

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. 

  • Ability to set up cones for exercises is required. 

  • Ability to pass a SafeSport Background check through Indiana Soccer.
