Area soccer coaches from all levels of the sport are invited to attend a special education symposium on Tuesday, May 21, hosted by Indy Eleven Head Coach Martin Rennie and US Soccer Director of Coaching Education Barry Pauwels.
The symposium, focusing on coaching education, game models and philosophies of the modern coach, will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Indy Eleven Grand Park Clubhouse (accessible via Lot E off 191st Street).
“The opportunity to learn and get feedback from one of the country’s foremost coaching experts in Barry Pauwels is not one any coach in our area should miss,” said Rennie, the second-year coach of Indy Eleven who has more than a decade of professional head coaching experience across Major League Soccer, the USL Championship and the Korean K League 1. “We look forward to welcoming Barry and coaches from all reaches of the sport to Grand Park for what is certain to be an enriching and enjoyable soccer experience.”
Access for the two-hour session will cost $30, while coaches who are associated with clubs in the Indy Eleven Youth Club Partner Program (click here for program benefits and details on how to join) will receive a 50% discount.
