WELCOMING PUERTO RICO FC:

Indy's return to Carroll Stadium is a long-awaited one, with exactly three weeks spanning between their September 3 contest against North Carolina FC and this Wednesday's match against Puerto Rico FC.

Just the fifth game between the two clubs since PRFC's introduction into the NASL in July 2016, both sides are fighting for every point possible as the Fall Season dwindles down to five remaining games for the "Boys in Blue," and six for "La Naranja."

There have been a combined eight goals scored between the pair in their last two meetings, dating back to two back-to-back matches in the Spring Season.

ELEVEN REWIND at NORTH CAROLINA FC:

"Indiana's Team" brought their push for the playoffs to North Carolina, where they looked to defeat hosts NCFC at WakeMed Soccer Park.

North Carolina FC opened the scoring inside ten minutes via forward Renan Gorne, and two goals in four minutes just after the half-hour mark made it 3-0 to the bad before the halftime break. In stoppage time, Gorne would add a fourth for his side, and his second of the game, via a penalty.

Down four goals after the break, Indy Eleven introduced a pair of subs to break up the NCFC momentum. After working through a scoreless second half, the home side found a fifth - again in stoppage - via a Dre Fortune free kick, and the "Boys in Blue" fell 5-0.

WHO TO WATCH INDY ELEVEN EDITION: GK JON BUSCH

A veteran of over 20 years in the sport, Indy Eleven goalkeeper Jon Busch will be called into action for at least another few games with the season ending at the end of October.

"Buschy" is just three saves off the league lead with two games in hand, and has already broken Indy Eleven records for most clean sheets in a season (11), most combined clean sheets in two seasons (17) and the all-time appearance record for goalkeepers.

Making just three saves in last week's 5-0 loss, Busch will look to push his side back in playoff contention beginning with Puerto Rico FC on Wednesday.

WHO TO WATCH PUERTO RICO FC EDITION: FW HECTOR RAMOS

A player who has caused trouble for the Indy Eleven back line in his two appearances against the "Boys in Blue" in two meetings this year, Hector Ramos will likely lead the attack for "La Naranja" having scored twice while notching one assist in 180 minutes against Indy.

A physical forward with power behind him, Ramos has yet to find the net in his limited Fall Season appearances but has still been able to tally three goals and one assist in 2017 so far. However, the Puerto Rican has ways to go in matching his eight goals and four assists in 2016 but has another opportunity tonight.

MATCH-UP TO MARK: FW CONNOR DOYLE vs DF CORY MILLER

Another forward with a decent goal record against "Indiana's Team," Connor Doyle will keep centerback Cory Miller busy when the two clash on the field midweek.

Doyle has scored five goals in 23 appearances with one goal in two games against Indy Eleven but will face defender Cory Miller for the first time with the defender re-joining the side in September after a lengthy spell off due to injury. Miller has already featured five times since putting pen to paper to once again become a "Boy in Blue," and is expected to see consistent time as the Fall Season comes to a close.
