After redshirting her freshman year and only playing in 12 matches in a shortened 2020 campaign, Abby Isger established herself as one of the best players in the BIG EAST Conference in 2021. In 21 appearances, Isger tallied 22 points on eight goals and six assists for the Butler Bulldogs this past season. Isger had the most game-winning goals in the BIG EAST (5), which was best for 17th in the country. Her biggest game-winner came on Oct. 31 against UConn in the BIG EAST Tournament Semi-Finals, when she scored the game’s only goal in double overtime to advance the Bulldogs to the next round. Isger was selected to the BIG EAST Championship All-Tournament Team for her efforts. Prior to enrolling at Butler, the Indianapolis native played for local academy side Indiana Fire Juniors, where she helped the club win Regional Championships and qualify for the 2017 Elite Club National League (ENCL) Playoffs.
