A standout offensive threat at VCU, Matsuhisa helped the Rams to an Atlantic 10 regular season championship as a freshman, playing in all 17 matches with three starts. As a sophomore, she was named A-10 second team and the A-10 Offensive Player of the Week (Oct. 10). Matsuhisa started all 19 games in 2022 and finished second on the team with four goals, while leading the team with six assists and 54 shots on goal.
During her prep career at Jumonji High School in Japan, Matsuhisa scored 35 goals, including a career-high 16 as a junior.
