In five seasons at Louisville, Whitsett made 82 appearances with 19 starts for the Cardinals. A stellar freshman campaign in 2018 saw Whitsett score a team-leading nine goals, including three game winners, and add a pair of assists in 19 matches. She was named to TopDrawerSoccer’s second-team Freshman Best IX and earned ACC Offensive Player of the Week accolades.
As a sophomore, she went on to play in 19 matches, registering three goals and an assist. Whitsett saw action in all 12 games in a shortened 2020 season, making her lone goal of the season count, a match-winner over Dayton. In her final two seasons, Whitsett notched six goals, including a pair of match winners, and five assists in 19 games.
A 2017 All-Eastern League selection at Patrick Henry High School, Whitsett helped her team to two State semifinal appearances. Whitsett also help the San Diego Surf Development Academy to Surf Cup, Blues Cup and Surf Thanksgiving Cup Championships and was named a Cal South Young Olympian in 2012.
