Indy Eleven Professional Soccer has added to its coaching staff by officially welcoming Phillip Dos Santos.
“I’m extremely pleased that we’re able to attract high-caliber talent to our coaching staff,” Indy Eleven Head Coach Martin Rennie said. “Phillip’s experience as assistant coach at San Francisco Deltas last year is a tremendous asset as he assists me with building a high-performance squad of players.”
“It’s an honor to join Indy Eleven in their inaugural USL season,” said Phillip Dos Santos. “I’m grateful to Coach Rennie and team leadership to have this exciting opportunity,” said Dos Santos. “My coaching experience with previous championship teams will help us provide Indiana fans with a dynamic and disciplined team.”
Dos Santos was born in Montreal, Canada and his experience coaching championship teams includes the 2017 NASL Champion San Francisco Deltas and the 2015 NASL runner-up Champion Ottawa Fury FC.
Dos Santos holds an UEFA A License coaching certification. He also held coaching positions with the Canadian national team program from 2011-2013.
Per club policy, terms of the contract that bring the former North American Soccer League veteran coach to the Indy Eleven sideline will not be released. Dos Santos will officially join Indy Eleven upon receipt of his P-1 Visa.
