Brandon Kim Named Assistant Coach for Women’s Pre-professional Squad; Dr. Sarita Sharp Joins Staff as Team Chiropractor
INDIANAPOLIS (Thursday, May 5, 2022) – Indy Eleven announced the final additions to its USL W League outfit today, as the side continued to build out its staff with the hires of Assistant Coach Brandon Kim and Team Chiropractor Dr. Sarita Sharp.
Indy Eleven’s senior women’s team will host Kings Hammer FC at the Grand Park Events Center in Westfield tomorrow, Friday, May 6, at 7:00 p.m. in a contest that will serve as the historic Inaugural Match for the USL W League, a nationwide women’s pre-professional league launching this summer with 44 clubs across 20 states.
A very limited number of tickets remain for the match, and fans who want to attend are encouraged to purchase their seats now at indyeleven.com/wleague-tickets. Indy Eleven Season Ticket Members are reminded that their 2022 Memberships also include tickets for all six W League home matches this summer.
“The additions of Brandon & Sarita fill out our staff and will allow our season this summer to run efficiently,” said Indy Eleven W League Head Coach Paul Dolinsky. “We will be able to run functional sessions, match prep sessions, recovery sessions and more. It will allow travel and logistical matters to be handled smoothly as well. Overall, it will help to create an incredibly professional environment for our W League side throughout our Inaugural Season.”
Kim is no stranger to the Indiana soccer scene, having grown up in Hamilton County in Westfield and Carmel. He would play for both Carmel High School and Carmel United Soccer Club, the latter with which he competed in US Soccer’s Development Academy system.
“I am beyond excited to join the Indy Eleven family and honored to be a part of the W-League staff. I’m so fortunate to continue to work with Coach Dolinsky as well; we’ve known each other a long time and he has done a fantastic job building the roster, setting goals and expectations for our first season and I really can’t wait to get started!”
Kim carries a USSF B Coaching License and has put it to good use in stints across various levels of the sport, including with Carmel United, Park Tudor High School, Marian University, and, for the last five years as the Assistant Director of Coaching for the Indiana Fire Juniors’ Girls Youth Academy (U8-U12). This will be Kim’s season in a row on Dolinsky’s bench, as he was an assistant coach for the Lady Victory FC outfit that compiled a 10W-1L-0D record last summer en route to winning the ECNL’s Midwestern Conference crown in that squad’s own inaugural campaign.
In a similar vein, Dr. Sarita Sharp is a familiar face in Indy Eleven circles. Dr. Sharp was the Team Chiropractor for the club’s USL Championship side the past two seasons, when her practice, Alpha Health & Wellness in Indianapolis, served concurrently as the Official Chiropractic Partner of Indy Eleven.
“My time working with Indy Eleven has been exceptionally rewarding. Not only am I able to give back to the sports community, but I also have the ability to educate the players on spinal health and its importance as well,” said Dr. Sharp. “I look forward to continuing this journey as part of the club’s W League family and look forward to being a part of their Inaugural Season at Grand Park.”
