The Boys in Blue hit the road for the final match of the 2023 regular season against San Antonio FC. This is the first match of the season between the two squads.
The Eleven are coming off a 2-1 victory over FC Tulsa and are 2-2-1 in their last five games. With a 13-11-9 record, Indy is sixth in the USLC Eastern Conference and has clinched a playoff berth. San Antonio is 1-1-3 in its last five matches and is coming off a 1-0 loss to Orange County. SA is second in the Western Conference at 14-6-13.

With a 3-0 win over Detroit City FC on Sept. 30, Indy clinched a USL Championship playoff berth for 2023. This is the third playoff appearance since joining the USLC in 2018, and the first since 2019.

The Eleven are 8-5-3 on the road in 2023, giving them their most regular season wins away from home in the club’s USLC history (previously 6 in 2019). Indy has outscored its opponents 24-18 on the road with seven multi-goal performances and three of 3+ (3 at ELP, PIT; 4 at CHS).
STREAKED
The Boys in Blue’s longest unbeaten streak in 2023 ended at six matches (8.9-9.2) with victories over Birmingham, Miami (2x), El Paso and Loudoun and a tie at Memphis. The longest unbeaten streak of 2023 fell just short of a seven-match regular season streak from Oct. 5, 2019-July 22, 2020 (6-0-1).

Indy Eleven scored a pair of second half goals to come from behind and defeat FC Tulsa, 2-1, on the road Saturday evening and officially eliminate Tulsa from playoff contention.
The match winner came from Indy Eleven’s assist co-leader, Solomon Asante, who put his second goal, and first game winner, of the season past the FC Tulsa keeper in the 82nd minute. The Boys in Blue held on through over eight minutes of stoppage time for their eighth road win of the season, the most for the club in USL Championship action.
Despite controlling 67.4% of the possession and outshooting the home side 9-7 in the first half, Tulsa put three shots on frame and found the opening goal off a Phillip Goodrum penalty kick in the 34th minute. The Cam Lindley, Sebastian Velasquez combination struck for the second straight match to bring the Boys in Blue level in the 62nd minute. Velasquez picked up his second tally of the season in as many games, while Lindley is now tied with a team-leading six assists.
Indy outshot Tulsa 19-16 and earned 58% of the possession in the match. Four players put shots on target, including Stefano Pinho and Douglas Martinez who joined the goal scorers. Adrian Diz Pe added a match-high nine clearances, while Robby Dambrot led all players with four tackles won. Tim Trilk had four saves in goal.
Indy has now scored 13 goals in the final 15 minutes of the second half this season, only two teams – Phoenix Rising and San Diego Loyal – have more at 16.
