Westfield, Ind. – Indy Eleven opened its 2026 USL W League season with a hard-fought 1-1 draw vs. rival Racing Louisville FC indoors at the Community Health Network Events Center on the Droplight Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield.
The tie game featured two crucial saves by goalkeeper Emily Edwards. Indy Eleven showed off their shooting skills by taking 15 shots on goal over Racing’s three, giving them much advantage throughout the game.
Girls in Blue veteran Reese Sochacki recorded the game-tying goal in the 64th minute, burying a rebound from close range.
The Girls in Blue travel to new Valley Division member Toledo Villa FC on Saturday at 3 pm on SportsEnginePlay.
