Indianapolis (Aug. 3, 2026) – Indy Eleven Professional Soccer and Indy Sports & Entertainment Chief Executive Officer Greg Stremlaw has been appointed to The International Center Board of Directors. His extensive professional experience, global perspectives, and commitment to community engagement will help advance the organization’s mission of fostering international understanding and connections throughout Indiana and beyond.
Stremlaw, the Alternate Governor to the United Soccer League, is the Co-CEO of Droplight Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield, which had more than 5.5 million visitors last year. A highly-respected sports executive, he previously was the President of Canadian Broadcasting Corporation Sports and served as General Manager of the network’s Olympic coverage. He also served as CEO of Curling Canada and has extensive experience leading major national and international sporting events. He brings valuable expertise in strategic leadership, global sports, media, and community engagement to The International Center’s Board of Directors.
Indy Eleven began a groundbreaking long-term Community Partnership with The International Center during its 50th anniversary in 2023 as a catalyst to inform, convene, and connect public, private, and civic global objectives in Indiana.
In this expansive partnership, International Center assists with home search and settling services for new Indy Eleven players and assists the club’s players and staff in making introductions to local international communities throughout Indiana. The Center also provides orientation services and cultural training for Indy Eleven players and their families and gives access to an array of additional benefits and services provided by The Center.
Indy Eleven staff participate in The International Center’s Global Competency Workshops, which provide an understanding of intercultural relationships to help create a positive, multicultural work environment. Members of the club’s staff take part in the James T. Morris Global Leadership Series Cohort, a program centered around developing and progressing skills in leadership from a global perspective.
In addition, Indy Eleven serves as a presenting community partner of the International Center’s Festival Fund, a program that supports and promotes the activities of organizations in the greater Indianapolis area that enrich life by celebrating cultural diversity and expression and showcasing the growing number of nationalities represented in Central Indiana.
