Indy Eleven came back from a halftime deficit with two second-half goals to earn a 2-2 draw at Hartford Athletic on March 28. Coming into the game, Hartford had only allowed one goal in its first three matches.
The Boys in Blue started the second half quickly in the 48th minute, with forward Bruno Rendon making a long run down the right sideline into the area, where he played it forward to midfielder Cam Lindley, who played a perfect cross to the far post, with midfielder Noble Okello finishing it with his left foot to even the match at 1-1. It is the 31st career assist for Lindley in USL-C regular-season play, good for a tie for 22nd on the league’s all-time list.
Indy Eleven took the lead in the 72nd minute, with goalkeeper Eric Dick starting the sequence with a goal kick to midfield, where Okello was fouled. Lindley hurried to play a quick restart to midfielder Josh O’Brien, who played an angled ball to Mikah Thomas on the left side. The 20-year-old Thomas, who entered two minutes earlier, played three quick touches and curled a beautiful left-footed ball to the far post, where Rendon finished for his team-best second goal this season in the last two games.
Defender Anthony Herbert made a brilliant sliding block to clear an Augi Williams shot off the line in the 87th minute, but Hartford got the equalizer on an own goal off the ensuing free kick.
The Boys in Blue had an early chance in the sixth minute when defender Hayden White made a long throw-in to defender Paco Craig, who headed it inside the area to Herbert, but his shot was saved. Hartford countered immediately, but Dick saved Sadat Anaku’s shot from close range.
Boys in Blue forward Loïc Mesanvi made his first USL Championship start, generating an opportunity from outside the box that was saved. The Indy Eleven attack generated eight shots in the first half, with Mesanvi recording a team-high three.

McAuley earned USL Championship “Team of the Week” honors on May 12 in the midst of his team’s 10-game home unbeaten streak (9-0-1) from Aug. 31, 2025 to July 24, 2026.

The Sheffield, England, native led Indy Eleven to the 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup semifinals with four straight victories, including a 2-1 triumph at MLS-side Atlanta United.
In 2025, Indy Eleven continued its run of Cup success under McAuley with a 4-0-3 record in cup play. The Boys in Blue won their U.S. Open Cup Third Round match vs. Miami FC on Hayden’s White’s stoppage-time goal from Cam Lindley.

Welcome Back Dylan!
Indy Eleven forward Dylan Sing has been recalled from short-term loan with Portland Hearts of Pine of USL League One, where he scored a goal at Athletic Club Boise on July 17.
In his first season with the Boys in Blue, the 25-year-old Sing is tied for third on the team with two goals in USL Championship play. He scored his first Indy Eleven tally on a header in his home debut vs. Detroit City FC on March 21.
The Western Michigan product sealed a victory vs. Lexington SC on May 23 with a 76th-minute header into the upper 90. He earned his first Boys in Blue assist on WMU teammate Charlie Sharp’s goal vs. Des Moines Menace on March 17 in the U.S. Open Cup.
The 6’3 Sing has started four matches in 2026, including three in USL-C play.
O’Brien scores 5th Goal of 2026
Indy Eleven midfielder Josh O’Brien scored his fourth goal of the USL Championship season and fifth in all comps at San Antonio FC on July 31st.
Logan Neidlinger started the scoring sequence with a long throw-in to the box to Makel Rasheed, who headed it into the six. The ball caromed out to Anthony Herbert, who won a 50-50 ball with his back to the goal, turned, and uncorked a pass as he was falling into the six to O’Brien who finished inside the near post.
O’Brien is second on the Boys in Blue in goals in USL-C and all competitions, playing all 1,440 minutes in Indy Eleven’s 16 USL-C games this season. He led the team with four shots.
Herbert recorded his second assist of the campaign in his second game back in the starting lineup after missing almost two months due to an injury suffered when he was playing for the Trinidad & Tobago National Team in a match at Russia on June 9. He tied for the team lead with two tackles won.
Indy almost broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute when a Cam Lindley corner from the left was flicked on target at the near post by Nabi Kibunguchy, forcing a reflex save by Joey Batrouni before O’Brien’s header off the rebound clipped the crossbar.
Indy tried to find a way back into the game just before the hour-mark when Jack Blake’s long-range effort was kept out by Batrouni.
