Michael Huber will continue as President of Indy Eleven
INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Eleven today announced that CEO Greg Stremlaw will depart the organization effective November 30, 2026, to assume the role of President & Chief Sports Officer at Droplight Venture Studio, a major Indy Eleven Sponsor, and the exclusive naming rights partner of Grand Park Sports Campus.
Stremlaw has led Indy Sports & Entertainment and Indy Eleven for nearly eight years and helped transform the club from a single men’s professional team into one of the most dynamic and well respected soccer organizations in the country. As CEO he led the launch of a W League team that won the 2023 national championship and built a youth development pipeline that now serves more than 24,000 children across Indiana and he led the bid to acquire the management and operations of the Grand Park Sports Campus which welcomed over 5.5 million visitors last year.
During his tenure with the club, Stremlaw won United Soccer League executive of the year in 2024 and was named to IBJ’s Indiana 250 most influential sports leaders in 2024 and again in 2025. Stremlaw has been a driving force and supporter of women’s soccer and secured the ability to host the first ever W League game across the United States in Indianapolis to launch the League. He has been a two-term member of the W League Executive Board, and he won the W league’s inaugural executive of the year award in 2022. He sits on a myriad of boards, including many in Indiana such as the International Center; the Indiana Latino Institute; and the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis.

Stremlaw’s departure date coincides with the close of the 2026 USL season, allowing for a full season completion and a transition heading into 2027. In his new role at Droplight, he will continue to steward the organization’s relationship with both Indy Eleven and Grand Park. With President Michael Huber at the helm, Indy Eleven is well positioned for a seamless transition into 2027.
