(Aug. 25, 2026) Tampa, Fla. – Three players and Coach Sean McAuley earned USL Championship “Team of the Week” honors after the Boys in Blue remained unbeaten in August (2-0-1) with a 2-1 victory over Louisville City FC on Saturday at Carroll Stadium. It is the third selections this season for Jack Blake, Eric Dick, and Aodhan Quinn and the second for Coach McAuley.
Blake scored his 45th USL Championship goal with the game-winner in the 60th minute, becoming the 46th player in league history to reach that plateau. Quinn started the game-winning sequence with the match tied 1-1, creating some space in the midfield to curl a through ball between two defenders to Blake. Blake played a quick touch to forward Edward Kizza who gave it right back and Blake took a touch to his right to create space for a 25-yard strike that tucked inside the left post. It is Blake’s franchise-best 29th Indy Eleven goal, his third in USL-C play this season, the fourth in all comps in 2026, and a “Goal of the Week” nominee. Blake leads the Boys in Blue in fouls won (32) in 2026, and he has earned USL-C “Team of the Week” honors 15 times in his Indy Eleven career.

The longest-tenured coach in Indy Eleven history (102 matches), Sean McAuley earned USL-C “Team of the Week” recognition for the second time this season. His 2026 squad is 7-1-2 in league play at Carroll Stadium after Saturday’s home victory over Louisville and the Boys in Blue are in a playoff position in sixth place in the Eastern Conference table. The top eight teams in the East at the end of the regular season on October 24 will compete in the USL-C playoffs.
Bruno Rendon put the Boys on Blue on top in the 31st minute off an assist from Quinn. Midfielder Cam Lindley started the play by sliding to deflect a pass in the center circle to Quinn. Off the bounce, Quinn one-timed a through ball to Rendon on the right side. Rendon headed it down and with a defending closing on him and fired a sharp-angle shot low and hard inside the far post to give his team a 1-0 lead.
It is Rendon’s team-high eighth goal in USL-C play and his 10th in all competitions this season. It is Quinn’s team-best fourth assist in league play, his fifth in all comps in 2026, and the 65th of his USL Championship career. He is now one assist behind league all-time leader Kenardo Forbes (66).
The 2025 “Golden Playmaker Award” winner has recorded 19 assists in his four seasons with the Boys in Blue, second all-time behind Ayoze (22). With his next appearance, Quinn will become the seventh player in Indy Eleven history to play 100 matches for the Boys in Blue. The San Diego native is seventh in the USL-C in chances created (39), 10th in crosses (102), and tied for 12th in assists (4) this season.
The only player in league history to record at least 10 assists in three different seasons, Quinn is the USL-C all-time leader in games started (293) and he ranks second in appearances (307) and third in goals+assists (122).

Boys in Blue goalkeeper Eric Dick matched his season high with seven saves to increase his career total to 307 in USL-C regular-season play, good for 18th on the league all-time list. The Carmel native and Butler product is fifth in the league in saves (61) this season. He has recorded 35 clean sheets in USL-C regular-season play, tied for 14th on the all-time list. Indy Eleven is tied for eighth in the league with 22 goals conceded in 2026.
