Indianapolis – Indy Eleven could not overcome the loss of two starters just prior to the match in addition to two injured earlier in the week in a 2-0 setback vs. Miami FC at Carroll Stadium.
Forwards Bruno Rendon and Charlie Sharp were in the starting XI before being removed prior to kickoff, with Malik Henry-Scott and Dylan Sing inserted. Henry-Scott made his second start for the Boys in Blue and Sing started for the fourth time in league play, his first since March. The 24-year-old Henry-Scott led the team with three shots (including one shot on target) and added a chance created.
Midfielder Josh O’Brien is tied for the team lead with his 24th start in USL Championship play in 2026, recording two shots (one on target) and two chances created. He is third on the Boys in Blue with 34 shots in league play this season.
Captain Aodhan Quinn tied O’Brien with two chances created in the match to increase his team-best season total to 45. He led Indy Eleven with 38 completed passes (21 in the final third) and 12 crosses attempted, giving him a team-high 137 crosses in league action.
Defender Alejandro Mitrano, making his eighth start in the past nine matches, was second on the squad with nine crosses attempted, adding 22 completed passes (10 in the final third) and two tackles won.
Defender Nabi Kibunguchy led all Boys in Blue players with four tackles won, with Quinn, Joe Hafferty, and Jack Blake having three.
Loic Mesanvi recorded three successful dribbles to lead in that category, adding one shot.
Indy Eleven is in seventh place in the USL-C Eastern Conference with five games remaining in the regular season. The Boys in Blue hold a one-point advantage over eighth-place Rhode Island FC, their opponent in a nationally-televised road match on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network. Miami FC is in ninth place, two points behind Rhode Island. The top eight teams in the East after matches on October 24 will compete in the playoffs.
The final Indy Eleven home match of the regular season is “Fan Appreciation Night” on Saturday, October 10 at 7 p.m. vs. USL-C points leader Tampa Bay Rowdies presented by dormakaba.
