Louisville, Ky. – Indy Eleven captain Aodhan Quinn became the USL Championship All-Time Assist Leader with his 67th career assist in regular-season play during the Louisville-Indianapolis Proximity Association Football Contest (LIPAFC) at Louisville City FC on Saturday.
In the 71st minute, Quinn took a corner kick from the right side and curled an inswinger at the edge of the six to 6’5 defender Makel Rasheed, who elevated to volley it inside the near post for his first Indy Eleven and USL Championship goal.
Quinn has recorded assists in back-to-back games to increase his season total to a team-high six in 2026 league play. He won the 2025 USL-C Golden Playmaker Award with a franchise-record 11 assists, becoming the first Indy Eleven player in franchise history (NASL and USL-C) to win a statistical category.
The 34-year-old Quinn has 21 assists for the Boys in Blue in all competitions, trailing only Ayoze with 22 from 2018-22 on the franchise all-time list.
The San Diego native is the first player in league history to record double-digit assists in a season three times, having also done so in 2018 (14 for Orange County) and 2021 (11 for Phoenix Rising). He finished second in the USL-C in assists both of those years.
Quinn is the only player in league history to have recorded at least 50 goals (57) and 60 assists (67) in regular-season play.
Quinn became the seventh Indy Eleven player to earn All-League accolades in 2025. It is the third time that Quinn has been on the USL-C All-League Team, following first-team selections in 2018 with Orange County SC and 2021 with Phoenix Rising FC.
The Boys in Blue had a chance to equalize with Louisville in the 23rd minute. Midfielder Cam Lindley played a long diagonal free kick to the left side to defender Alejandro Mitrano. Mitrano took two dribbles and served a ball to the edge of the six that forward Edward Kizza looped toward the far post, but Louisville keeper Ryan Schewe made a leaping save to punch the ball wide with his left hand.
The Race to the 2026 USL Championship Playoffs for Indy Eleven comes down to the final game of the season at Charleston Battery next Saturday at 6 p.m. on ESPN+. A Boys in Blue victory would clinch the final Eastern Conference playoff berth.
