The Boys in Blue signed 15-year-old Indy Eleven Academy forward Tyler Lowden to a USL Academy contract on May 29, 2026. Per club policy, terms of the deal will not be disclosed, and individual status is pending league and federation approval. Academy Contracts allow players to retain their NCAA eligibility.
Lowden has played at Indy Eleven Academy for several years, competing on the U16 team in 2026. He attends Center Grove H.S.
Since 2019, Indy Eleven has signed 25 players to USL Academy contracts, making the club one of the premier player development destinations in the USL Championship. The Boys in Blue signed Academy-product Logan Neidlinger to his first professional contract in October, 2024. The 20-year-old Neidlinger currently starts for the First Team after becoming the youngest player in club history (age 18) to score a goal in August of 2024.
