Jack Blake recorded his sixth career brace to lead the Boys in Blue to a 3-2 win over Miami FC at home on August 23, 2025.
Trailing 1-0 late in the first half, captain Aodhan Quinn deflected a pass in the midfield to Blake, who fed Edward Kizza. Kizza made a spin move and delivered the ball in space to Maalique Foster, who made a diagonal pass to the edge of the box to Blake. Blake took one dribble inside the area and drew contact, resulting in a penalty kick. Blake converted his 10th consecutive PK in the last two seasons for the Boys in Blue to tie it 1-1 just prior to halftime.
Cam Lindley subbed in to start the second half and made an immediate impact. In the 51st, Lindley took a free kick on the left side and delivered a perfect cross to the back post to Pat Hogan, who flicked it into the right corner to give the Boys in Blue a 2-1 lead. It is Hogan’s second goal this season, with the first coming in the season opener at Miami FC off a set piece from Blake.
Lindley became the 23rd player in USL Championship history to record 30 assists. Prior to the match, Lindley was honored for becoming the fifth player in franchise history to play 100 matches. He is fourth all-time with 103 career games played.
In the 69th, Foster and Blake teamed up again for the game-winning goal. Foster handled a clearance in the center of the field, took one dribble, and passed it to Blake just outside the area. Blake took one touch to the left and uncorked a left-footed banger into the top left corner to give the Boys in Blue a 3-1 lead.

Indy Eleven signs defender Nabi Kibunguchy
Indy Eleven signed defender Nabi Kibunguchy on July 14, pending league and federation approval.
The Sacramento, California, native was selected 18th overall in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft by Minnesota United. He signed his first professional contract with them and was loaned to his hometown USL Championship side Sacramento Republic for the remainder of the 2021 season. Kibunguchy started 13 of 16 matches for the Republic, recording a goal, an assist, and five chances created in 1,155 minutes.
He scored his first USL-C goal in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time to give his team a 2-2 draw at eventual league champion Orange County SC on July 24, 2021.
He made his MLS debut with Minnesota United in 2022 when Sean McAuley was an assistant, starting MLS regular-season contests vs. Houston and Colorado Rapids and two U.S. Open Cup games. He also started 15 matches for Minnesota United 2 in MLS NEXT that year, scoring four goals in 1,304 minutes.
In 2023, Kibunguchy continued MLS NEXT play for Orlando City B, earning a short-term call-up to Orlando City of MLS in September. For Orlando City B, he scored four goals in 23 matches, including a brace in a 2-2 shootout victory over NYCFC II.
Kibunguchy made his international debut for the Kenya National Team in a 2026 World Cup qualifier on November 20, 2023.
He returned to Orlando City B in 2024, playing all 2,340 minutes in 26 starts while recording seven chances created, 15 shots, 19 fouls won, and 45 clearances.
The 6’3, 195-pound Kibunguchy played in 2025 for Singapore Premier League club Hougang United, scoring three goals for the Cheetahs in 24 appearances.
He scored his first goal for the club in a win vs. rival Geylang International FC in the 2025 Singapore Cup.
In college at UC Davis, Kibunguchy played 52 games from 2016-19, scoring three goals and recording two assists. He was named All-Big West Conference First Team, All-Region Second Team, Academic All-Big West, and Big West All-Freshman Team.
Internationally, Kibunguchy was selected to the USA U19 Youth National Team for the Slovakia Cup in 2016, helping the U.S. to the title with a 2-1 win over Russia in the finals.
Rasheed “Team of the Week”
Defender Makel Rasheed became the ninth different Indy Eleven player to earn USL Championship “Team of the Week” honors this season after helping the Boys in Blue to their fourth shutout in the past five matches in all competitions, a 2-0 victory over Charleston Battery on July 4. Rasheed has started the last five games, helping his team allow just one goal in that span.
Indy Eleven broke the scoreless tie in the 82nd minute when captain Aodhan Quinn played a free kick to the edge of the six where the 6’5 Rasheed headed it across to the far post for Josh O’Brien to volley home for Rasheed’s second assist this season.
The 25-year-old Rasheed completed 38 of 42 passes overall while winning 6 of 8 duels and notching one blocked shot, four clearances and three interceptions defensively.
The Boys in Blue defense is tied for first in the league with 12 goals allowed in 12 league contests after goalkeeper Eric Dick recorded his 34th career shutout.
Rasheed has made an impact in his first season for Indy Eleven, ranking third on the team in clearances (33) and blocks (5), converting the winning penalty kick in the Prinx Tires USL Cup shootout at Lexington SC on June 20, and recording his first assist at Birmingham FC on April 19. He started in his Boys in Blue debut in the season opener at Brooklyn FC, leading the team with 14 duels won, 10 aerial duels won, and 10 clearances.
Rasheed began his collegiate career with three seasons at the University of Indianapolis, before playing his final two years at Xavier.
The Boys in Blue have won four of their last five in USL-C play to improve to 6-3-3.

Goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook’s save in the 92nd minute of a clean sheet at Lexington SC was nominated for the Prinx Tires USL Cup Save of the Round. Fans can vote until midnight tomorrow for the Boys in Blue keeper who recorded seven saves + two in the shootout victory.
