Assistant Coach
Indy Eleven welcomed assistant coach Ayoze to their technical staff on Nov. 9, 2022.
Prior to being named as an assistant coach Ayoze had a 19-year-long professional career and spent five years on the pitch for The Boys in Blue (2018-22). Ayoze leads the club in games played, games started and assists, and is one of only three players to play five seasons for Indy.
Before joining the Boys in Blue, Ayoze spent five years with the New York Cosmos (2013-17) where he spent over 10,000 minutes on the field in 119 games played with the club. While with the team, Ayoza led the Cosmos to three NASL titles in four championship appearances and was voted Emirates Cosmos Player of the Year in 2015.
The 37 year-old from Puerto de la Cruz, Spain spent nine seasons playing professionally in Spain before coming to the US. Ayoze made his professional debut with Tereife in the 2003-04 season, after spending a brief time with Las Palmas he returned to Tenerife where he stayed through the 2009-10 season making 162 appearances and scoring 19 goals for the club.
After his time with Tenerife Ayoze spent two seasons (2010-12) with Sporting Gijon where he played in 27 games for the club.
