INDIANAPOLIS/TAMPA (Thursday, June 6, 2024) – Indy Eleven’s Amelia White was named to the USL W League Team of the Month after helping lead Indy Eleven to a 3-0-1 record in the month of May.
White, a rising junior at Penn State, is currently in her first season with the Girls in Blue. However, White wasted no time making an impact on the team, scoring the first goal of the season against Racing Louisville FC in the seventh minute. The forward also aided the team with two assists in the draw against Kings Hammer FC (5.20.24). In the final match of the month, White contributed two goals to the 9-0 victory over St. Charles FC (5.29.24). In May, White tallied three goals and two assists for a total of eight points.
The Girls in Blue have gone unbeaten this season with four wins and a draw, earning three clean sheets along the way. The unbeaten streak dates back a season and 12 matches, beginning on June 18, 2023 with a win over Kings Hammer FC. Indy Eleven are defending USL W League Champions and are currently leading the USL W League’s Valley Division.
